In her own words: Irma Leighton Reed, at NW 1972/73 I loved my short time at NW. I was part of the Choralons. My first day at the school I met Darla Douglas-Love on the steps of our dorm. We became very close friends. One night in the lounge we had Rod Fisher and others do a human marry-go-round. I had never seen those upper classmen laugh so hard!!! That Christmas I won the best decorated dorm room door, thanks to a big hole in the ceiling over the door, I was able to have "Santa" come down to my door!!! We also handed out rice Krispy treats!!! To this day I treasure so many friends from that time at NW. Sadly, I have lost a number of close friends as well. I married a local guy from Port Orchard WA. We have 3 children and 11 grands. We were children's pastors for over 30 years, as well as working with YWAM teaching puppets for mission teams. Today is my birthday (October 10th) and I wanted to share a few memories!!!
