Remembering Rocky Woods
There are some people that make the world a better place simply by being in it. That would describe Rocky. I did not stay in touch with Rocky through the years and I would not consider myself to be a "close friend." However, I had a couple of conversations with Rocky while attending NU; participated as a fellow member of King's Choralons; played against him in intramural football games; and observed his life on campus. He left an impression on me--that of a good man. The kind of person you want as a friend or as a member of your family. I was very sad when I heard the news that he was sick and then passed away. No doubt he is missed.
Rocky was from Bellevue, Washington and attended Northwest University 1972-77. He was a member of King's Choralons, and fully engaged in campus life at NU. He and his wife, Colleen, were living in Sartell, Minnesota at the time of his death. His birthday was on December 14th. |
